Oh wow. It’s been a loooong time since my last post. After returning to work I found it increasingly difficult to juggle blogging, working and everything else, so my blogging took a bit of a side-step. Buuuut, since then I’ve changed jobs and have just a little more time now so I’m hoping to get back on the blogging bandwagon once again!
My last post was way back in November, so I guess I’ll start with a bit of an update and some new ideas I have for the blog.
Christmas and Easter have been and gone and I am SO ready for summer! We’ve had a couple of summer-like days already this spring, and they have been glorious! Warm days and sunshine just make everything fabulous!
Baby J is now 16 months old. Say whaaaaaat?! I can’t believe how the time has flown. She is such a happy little squishy and loves life! After a shaky start she is now thriving at nursery! She loves it, which is real peace of mind for Dan and I, and it makes being back at work SO. MUCH. EASIER. She is sleeping well (waking about once a night), eating well (ok, there are days when it ALL goes on the floor, but hey!), and is an all-round superstar.
Dan and I have been plodding on with our jobs and have done some pottering in the house and garden. I’m making a sensory garden for Baby J, but I’ll write a separate post on that as I’m pretty excited about it. Come on, who wouldn’t be excited about a dinosaur zoo?!
I’m also going to introduce a new blog category for wellbeing. Yep. We will see how that goes! You may have seen my previous posts Monday morning: a new leaf. Same thing every week and Scribbles on my not-so-healthy vegetarian diet and also Scribbles on (half-hearted) exercise plans and noticed a bit of a theme… I have a lot of good intentions and nothing ever really comes of them!
My new plan is to document my progress on the blog and actually do it this time! For real. Basically I want to look after myself bit more and stop taking my good health for granted. I’m looking forward to starting it, and hopefully some of you can share your tips and experiences along the way!
For now though, I’m going to sign off and start scribbling my next few posts! There’s work to be done and naptime is probably not going to last much longer!
Have a super weekend! 🙂
